  1. You've gotten some great work done so far! I love that you are preparing the WebQuest this summer so it will be ready for students to use in the fall. And thanks for the information about Zunal - I looked at the website and am excited to use it with my students this year! I agree with your colleague that having a checklist of expectations is much clearer for students. While you can explain verbally and with written directions, students are more likely to produce the final products you are looking for if you explicitly tell them what you expect. Focusing on relating math to the real world is also a great idea. Will you play around with creating video blogs before school starts? You mentioned creating your own video blog to use as an example and I think it's a great idea. Not only does it give the students a better example of what you're looking for, but it allows you to work out the trouble spots in the technology you're asking your students to use.
